BIO
Born and raised in New York City, Vanessa Lenz Neithardt focuses her work on portraiture, fashion and documentary photography. She began her career as a staff photographer for Martha Stewart Omnimedia–compiling an extensive collection of portraits of Ms. Stewart and still life images, while continuing to shoot personal work. This quickly brought her recognition, leading Vanessa to branch out independently. Her work has since been published in, amongst others, The New York Times, Vogue Italia, LA Times, BUST Magazine, O Magazine and Essence. She showcased her In India photography series in Calypso St. Barth retail outlets throughout the United States, was awarded for her portrait of fashion icon, Iris Apfel in PDN's 2015 Faces issue, and continues to be a leading presence in the New York photography scene. Vanessa’s most recent project In Character, a series of cinematic portraits, is due to be completed in 2018.
